Anybody have any info and advice on Craft Show Vendor Liability Insurance?

I have a chance to be in a high $$ craft show but just found out - no proof of insurance - no get on site.

A quick look on the web shows insurance for 1 day 1 show about $150. A little to much for me.

Any ideas?

Do you have business insurance for your business and shop? If so it may be covered under that, mine is. That costs me $1,400 a year though. If not maybe talk to your homeowners insurance agent to ask about adding that as a rider, hopefully at a lower cost?

I was able to get my home owners agent to write a business policy with $1,000,000 liability coverage (required for doing business with a university I do work for) for $221 per year. This is not a rider, but a separate policy for the business.

Pete,
You might try this place:

The last quote I had was $75 + $15 yearly (I can't recall what that means exactly). Call them. They were way less than other companies I contacted.
