She is home safe and sound where she belongs. 17" General International. I am hoping that is will be the only bandsaw I ever need. Seeing as I have never owned a bandsaw before I am needing some education. I know that there is a certain type of blade that I should be getting for cutting green blanks but can't remember the type? Also I can't seem to find a blade the right size for my bandsaw 131.7. Does anyone have some insight into where I can get a blade that size. Lee Valley does not have one listed that size.

Thanks for your help.
Jonathan

Congrats on the new machine. Yep Timberwolf is the way to go. I use a 3 tpi blade for green blanks. Call them and let them know what you want and they will tell you what you need.

Johnathon, R&D bandsaws will make blades of any size for you. He is at all the Canadian woodshows and should be at the Woodstock show. He is located in Brampton and you would not have to deal with customs charges on ordering from the US. His blades are very good quality.

Hope this helps.
