Can anyone tell me where and when there might be a woodworking show within several hours drive of Cincinnati? Columbus, Ohio; Indianapolis, Ind, Louisville, Ky. are possible locations. Any time of year.

One year, I remember a show in Covington, Ky, just across the river from Cincinnati.

Any help or links?

Thanks,
Ken

When you say woodworking shows are you talking about tools and equipment or woodworking projects built by woodworkers?

Nov 10th and 11th is the Artistry in wood show put on by the Dayton woodcarver’s guild. This is a must see in my book. I go every year. It’s at the same place as the Dayton Air show. Very large show.

As far as “THE WOODWOKING SHOWS” with tools etc I think is a waste of time in my book. The shows were getting smaller and smaller each year. You can see just as many tools at Edward B. Mullers (SP?) in Reading. And it’s free.

The Dayton Ohio Carvers Guild always sponsors Artistry in Wood every year. This is really big with major woodworkers from all over country.

For at least the last couple years Woodwerks in Columbus has been having an in-store show the same weekend as the Columbus show. Its free, including free food, and there's as much to see, if not more, than the paid show.
