I was working on a project that requires some black acrylic trim 5/8" wide that butts together. Due to a little difference in the piece it was being applied to, I had a very small gap that measured .04 inches thick with caliper where they were supposed to butt . My wife is helping me and she says.."you need to fill that little gap up with something". I said..OK, I'll just cut a piece to go in it. She looks at me like I have lost my mind..but..I whip out a file in Corel. Ran, it. She goes over, takes the piece of the laser, brings it over..says " I don't see anything". Flips the piece over and out falls the sliver. Exactly as designed! I didn't know I could do that!! I just took a shot to see and it worked like a champ.

Anybody else got any stories about tiny pieces. The machine engraves very small also if required.

And old saying in the welding industry...
"If at first it does not fit, you fill it up with weld and..."
