One of several projects in work is a Norm style router table. For the half inch sized bit drawers, it calls for drilling 17/32" sized holes. Now, I went to the big box, and I looked in my Lee Valley catalog, but I have not found that sized bit.

Any ideas on where to find one? I'll check woodcraft this afternoon.

I've found that a 13 mm works well (and I could find one).

Try and automotive or machine shop supply place near you. I have found "odd" sizes at those stores and they are better quality bits that you can get at the BB stores. They will be a little more money, but far better bits IMHO..!!!!

I used a 13mm for the 1/2" bit holders too and it works just fine.

I bought a 17/32 bit online from J&L Industrial Supply.I was not happy with the results.I think it was because it is a metal bit and is a little aggressive at the start.Could just be operator error! Hope this helps.

Thanks for all the suggestions...sounds like 13mm is a good idea if I can't find a 17/32. Didn't make it to Woodcraft before they closed, but I know a couple auto stores that are open after church tomorrow.

Thanks again.
