I'm a new member here and just wanted to say hello. I look forward to my daily "fix" here since BP has closed its doors.

Ken...
Thanks!
Just playing around and wanted to make people feel welcome. I'll have to spend some time to make it better...but I think some still feel like visitors over here...and it just ain't right. We're all new.

Hi Mike, Welcome to Sawmill Creek, glad to have you as part of the flow. The creek isn't deep but the banks are getting wider all the time. It's going to be a great place to hang your hat.:p

For those who have not met Mike, you need to know he is a pretty special guy. He fed all my stuff into his CAD programs and double then triple checked my cyclone and blower information just to be helpful. From all that work he ended up making a full scale drawing of my plan that can be laid out right onto sheet metal.

You might not think that is a big deal, but in color and with accurate graphing that is a huge help. In fact, I'm jealous that I did not have one for this last test cyclone I built with my son. I showed him how to mark right and cut wrong, cutting off a full set of tabs and having to do some pretty fancy patching!

Anyhow, Welcome Mike as both a friend and fellow engineer! I'm sure you will add and gain lots from this group.

Good to have you on board.

If I had it to do over again, I would become an engineer too.

Glad to have you as part of the community.

Todd.

Hey the water is great, at least I think there is water here. Everyone else claims to have seen it, but so far I haven't found it still lots of places to look though. They also keep offering everyone logs to sit on. I don't have one of those or rocks either. But, you never know what you'll find on the next click.

Welcome to the Creek bank. It's really turning into a great place - just don't go near the chat room - It will suck you in worse than one of those cyclones :D
