I decided that I needed to replace my BD plunge router. I already have a PC fixed base that will take 1/2 shank bits, so I did not need a really powerful router, but rather a light-weight convienient router so I bought this

Nice addition to the shop, James! I like my OF1010, too. Very smooth and just the right size for the more detailed work, both hand-guided and rail-guided. BTW, the 8mm collet provides some good opportunity for smaller cutters that are stronger than 1/4" shanks, too. (Although the supply of the cutters is a lot more limited)

That is a nice looking router. I'm debating picking up the 1400 myself and liquidating some of the units I have (suffering from TMRS, too many routers syndrome).
