I'm doing some fixes on a humidor. One being a very small chip in the lacquer finish about the size of the tip of a toothpick. It's a hi gloss finish so it seems a little tricky. Any help would be greatly appreciated.:o

Well, since no one could help on this one I figured it out on my own. This is an easy to fix a chip or scratch in lacquer. First I applied the lacquer with a toothpick. Once the lacquer dried for a couple days I blocked it out to make it flush. Then I went over it with some 0000 steel wool. Now I took it to my Beal 3 wheel system and just touched it to each wheel for a moment and WHALLA, perfection.:D All the advice I could find everywhere else was to re-do the whole thing. This solved this mystery:)

Bill,

I answered in your other thread. What you did was what I suggested so maybe we linked mentally. :)
