Yesterday a local retired dentist was on the cover of the newspaper for his segmented turning. He got a full page and another inside. Pretty decent work too. My BIL showed me the paper and my Mom called me as well. I don't have a copy yet but I should be able to get one tonight. If I get my hands on one I'll post pics. I just thought it was nice to see wood turning getting the attention it deserves. This, I feel is one of the most intimate forms of art. Painting is a great talent too but woodworking is taking something from nature and bringing out it's natural beauty that it always had but never exposed. IMHO.:)
