Anyone know of a source for the captive dust cap included with some brands of pneumatic nailers? Example (on a Grex P635 in case it helps) shown in the photo. I've searched the web, nailer parts diagrams and several air tool accessory sites and still no luck. I currently use the Lee Valley latex nozzle caps on my older nailers/air tools, but these captive dust caps are much more convenient. Thanks.

How about calling Grex, or Porter Cable. They can't cost too much.

You could go to an auto parts store for a blister-pack of vacuum line caps which come in various sizes and are soft plastic or rubber. You would have to come up with your own scheme to string them or keep them captured.
Rick's suggestion above is more direct.

..and Kent in particular for the Porter Cable lead. Looks like part can be found using "884443 Porter Cable."

McMaster-Carr, page 269. They have them for both plugs and sockets in several sizes.

I found a couple of sources by Google-ing "884443 Porter Cable" -- ordered 20 @ $0.90 each from ereplacementparts.com (only needed 8 but couldn't resist ordering more after unsuccessfully searching on/off for a year --- found and order placed in <10 min. after the good SMC suggestions). Backordered of course but assuming I actually get them in a few weeks, I'm happy. Thanks again.
