This one got a bit punky in places and I probably didn't do all I should have. It is 9" X 3 1/8". It is sanded to 400 grit and has three coats of Tung Oil and buffed. I really like part of it but am disappointed in others. Oh well, it's all about learning.:)

Interesting, the four lines of spalting. Don't know what you don't like about it, but I think it's a nice bowl.

Chris,
I think it a nice looking bowl, but are you sure you didn't draw those spalting lines on with a sharpie;)

I had some very small tear out issues around the foot and lip. I have ruined a few trying to correct things like that and just decided to leave well enough alone. In other words, I chickened out!:)
