My magnetic switch appears to have stopped working. It is a Furnas 12BA21B. It is no longer produced. What is a good substitute?

they have hakf way decent magnetic switches for the money, or try your local electrical parts supplier.

Try Woodworker's Supply. They have the 3HP, 18-26amp switches under number 923-964. That should fix your Unisaw.:D :D :D

Some Jet tools have the same switch and may be bunches cheaper.
I would try blowing it out. A little dust in the wrong spot is all it takes.

I got one for my unisaw restoration project from www.gpetn.com (http://www.gpetn.com). It looks like the site is down. I believe it was the same price as the grizzly but it was black and has a large mushroom off switch. Let me know if you are interested and I can dig up more information from my recipt.

Thanks, everyone! The prices seem to range from over $100 to around $50. I will do some checking locally as suggested. This is the first time I have to post other than something like "wow that's great."
