Hello all, I'm replacing my vaccum pump and was thinking of using new hose to go with the new pump. Where to get it, what type is my questions. Thanks as always, Sean.

The JoeWoodworker website sells the hose, quick connects and the fittings for the bag.

Consider putting a quick connect fitting on both ends of the hose. It makes it easier to store the vacuum pump.

Your local pool supply is a good source: I have some high vacuum equipment at work (mass spectrometers) and found that 'pool pump hose' actually is better than the vacuum pump hose from the manufacturer: Lasts longer, is more flexible and and a lot cheaper. I use the same hose in my home workshop for vacuum veneering.

Cheers,
Bernhard

Both of the borgs sell a reinforced clear plastic hose that works very well.
