Kinda of fun website that lets you make a snowflake patterns using 'scissors' in a flash interface. The great thing is that you can save your creation as .eps file, and process in Corel into a vector file and cut the 'snowflake' out of your favorite material. If anyone needs detailed processing steps lemme know and I'll be happy to pass them along.

I've done several dozen on 1/32 birch ply and wow factor was way up there.

so visit: http://snowflakes.barkleyus.com/

if nothing else... something fun for the kids to do!

best! steve

Steven,

That's pretty cool - it's like lays potato chips - you can't just cut once... I'm going to cut it out and see how sharp that is on the laser...

Thanks for the tip...

Neat program. But I'm a terrible God, I can't make a decent snowflake to save my life.

Steve,

What fun! Thanks for sharing this. I have been designing snowflakes "from scratch" and this is infinitely easier. I love that I have no idea what the flake looks like until I click to view.
