I got this blank from Keith Burns. Thanks Keith. It's that stuff that is dyed while still growing. It's 6 3/4 x 2 3/4 with three little feet (something Travis Stinson showed me) and finished with lacquer. Comments welcome.

The shape and finish are VERY nice, but the color, contrast and grain orientation are fantastic. Personally don't care much about feet one way or the other, but the way that the opening rises out of the grain is most pleasing to me.
