No Rust

To prevent metal/tools from rusting in a tool box,etc. put three mothballs in the storage container. Water requires H2O and the mothball takes Hydrongen out of the formular.

I had red hair when I was young and now it is white. I don't know if it is from the mothballs or old age.

I think the moth balls just suck up the water. Breaking H2O apart needs energy not just a static moth ball. Breaking hydrogen out of a water molecule would give you lots of Oxygen and solve lots of the worlds energy problems since you would get higher energetic oxygen for free.

Even if mothballs could release hydrogen from water, you wouldn't want your tool box full of oxygen Rust is ferrous oxide so having lots of oxygen present would increase the rate of oxidation or rust.
