Dust collection hose

I just set up my Delta dc with a 4" hose, some of my equipment only has a 2-1/2 hookup(ts,bs,bench sander). Should I run a 4" up to the equipment and then use a 2-1/2 adapter to connect to it or how should I run this? Thanks

Morning Brian...

Yep to the above. Do the down-size at the machine. But.. first I would pull off the 2 1/2" hood and see if the opening is larger and the face of the 2 1/2" reciever port is just covering a larger opening.

If so.. I would replace the 2 1/2" with a larger 4" port reciever and you elimanate the down-size and create more cfm air flow.
