Lee Valley is selling boxes of ten light-weight 25 inch aluminum bar clamps at a low price as an anniversary special. The price is right and they would be handy for gluing edge strips to plywood. Limited quantity, the deal may not last long

Haven't tried these but I have a couple that "look" identical from Rockler.

These definitely aren't for heavy-duty clamping jobs, but would be useful for a job requiring a lot of clamps but not a lot of pressure. The light weight is an advantage in itself. I have quite a few Besseys and older 3/4" pipe clamps, and they can both be pretty cumbersome to use.
