I've been a wood worker for 25 years, but have just discovered turning in the last 4 months. That's the good news, the bad news is that the rest of my shop, has become nothing more than lathe support. Anyway this is just a picture of a big chunk of walnut that I roughed into a bowl the other day.

What a pity your other tools are being soooooo neglected. Seems to happen all the time when someone is bitten by the turning bug. Trust me, once bitten there is no cure.

Welcome!:D:D

Welcome to the creek. The other tools just need to get re-purposed. TS and jointer/planer are now for segmented stuff. All other tools, umm, horizontal storage space.
