Well, over the last week I've been visiting family in Ohio, and looking for tools at yard sales and flea markets. In my search, I met a plane collector who sold me a few Bedrocks for what I think are reasonable prices. And as for the "pic police", they will have to wait until I get back home this weekend.

So here is my haul for a little over $750 total:

Bedrock 607C
Bedrock 606C
Bedrock 605C
Bedrock 604C
Bedrock 604

Stanley Bailey 8C
Stanley Bailey 7C
Stanley Bailey 5 1/2C
Stanley Bailey 5 1/2
Stanely Bailey 4 1/2C
Stanley Bailey 4 1/2
Stanley Bailey 4
Stanely Bailey 3 C
Stanley No 130 Double-Ended Block Plane

Miller's Falls #14

Disston D-8 Hand Saw

24" Stanley Wood and brass level

North Bros Yankee pushdrill with no bits

Goodell Pratt pushdrill with 8 bits

Starrett 24" Flexible rule

Original Pootatuck Lion Miter Trimmer in almost like-new condition

Does all this qualify as a gloat?:D

Seems like you've got a lot of duplication there, but it gives you the opportunity to see which tool you return to using all the time. Not that I should say that, with 3 No. 4s myself...

Goodo on the Goodell Pratt pushdrill - those bits are VERY rare. North Bros (and later, Stanley) bits are more easily found in garage sales and flea markets, or, it appears, you can buy replacements from Garrett Wade (no idea of quality, but at least they're more or less the proper straight-fluted bits).

You are in a state of potential suckage. When you post the pics, you will officially suck.

Surely you can't possibly use all of those :p . The planes with the corrugated souls are junk, I will be glad to take them off your hands for you

Seriously nice haul :D

Assuming they bedrocks are in nice shape those are alone worth what you paid.

Pics will be taken and posted tomorrow. Had to drive 10 hours to get home today, and it's time to spend a little time with the GF before passing out.:D
