Saturday was spent turning some mirror frames and a picture frame for folks at work. One wanted a set of two five inch mirrors and a ten inch mirror. One wanted a large picture frame for their grand-daughter's picture and one wanted a small five inch mirror to put in her desk. All are turned from red oak and finished with tung oil. Sunday was spent cleaning the shop in the morning and going to my first pen turning class in the afternoon. The pen is made of walnut. I can see why folks get hooked on making these pens. It' a pleasure to turn them. I can't wait to get a live center tailstock for my Shopsmith so I can start making some at home. Hope you had a good weekend. Happy Turning.
