Let there be power sanding!
Lots of firsts on this one. First NE, first green-to-finished bowl in one sitting, first time power sanding, and first time turning oak. The oak turned like butter and the power sanding was great. I lost a little bark here and there, but nothing too bad. 7.5 x 3.5 inches, sanded to 600, finished with antique oil and beall buffed. Comments and critiques welcome!

I just took a look at the pictures and realized I had the aperture opened up too far for a nice, deep field of focus. Maybe my wife is on to something when she tells me I'm not perfect.. Nah!

Great looking piece. I love how the growth rings are centered in the bowl.
