Was on the Rock Road tonight and my son asked to go in the Halloween store (the one that opens up in a different part of town each year). Happened to be right next to Rockler this year - heheheh.
Walked in and they had a box the size of half a dumpster full of curly maple bowl blanks. I picked through and bought a couple. Already rounded (never bought pre-rounded blanks before) 8" diam x 2.5-3" thick - about $10 each. Pretty dense curl on a lot of them.
Get em before they get too picked over.
