I read in our local trade magazine that comes out on tuesday's that someone local had an industrail tablesaw for sell, I called him and he said it was an old rockwell that was in fair shape still runs and he wanted $75:D . I asked abunch of questions and it is a cabinet saw. I told him sold and I get it tonight at 6pm. wish me luck it's all I am hoping for.

Well I am now not so excited. his idea of 4 sided cast iron cabinet and industrial saw and mine are to different things. It was an old contractor saw and even said it right on the saw.
needless to saw I did not buy the saw.

Was it in that bad of shape that it wasn't worth $75 ? I have my eye on a old Delta 9" that I'd like to use for dado cuts only, then I wouldn't have to change blades.

No it was in good enough shape for $75 dollars It just wasn't as good as the contractor set up I already have.
