While in Houston in June Creeker Cecil Arnold gave me a roughed and dryed Bradford pear bowl. I'd never turned Bradford pear before. Last weekend while trying to put an embellishment on the rim, I drove my left forefinger into the rim, ended up with a splinter and some huge hospital bills.....

So Cecil.........Here it is....the Interstate collusion between Idaho and Texas.......It's not the best bowl I've turned but I've completed it today....Thanks for your generosity! About 7" in diameter, 2 inches high...finished with 2 coats of Antique Oil.

Ouch .... Hope the finger heal quickly.

That is a nice lookin bowl ... Great form.

What do ya use for your sig ... is it ink? I burn mine with a cheap wood burner but it doesn't look anywhere near as good as yours.

Shane..........That's done with an ultra-fine tip Sharpie....it's ink.....Finger is 100% healed. I've still got 2 days of oral antibiotics to finish but it's fine. Thanks for your concern!
