I guess from what I've read most people start out on these. Leave it to me to not go with the flow  I'd seen this basic shape on other pens and liked it, so gave it a try. The wood is something from Brazil, the seller didn't know what. Nicer grain in person than in my (typical) bad picture.....

Way to go Bonnie!!! Only thing I do differently is put the swell close to the point so the finger doesnt slip down. Talked to several craft-goers and they said they like that feature. They outsell all others at craft shows. Good lookin'

Thanks Harvey! I wasn't exactly sure how to figure the swell position, so just guessed at it. Seems to suit me okay, but I can see your point in putting it lower.
It's so hard for me to 'picture' a kit finished, most of my pen stuff is just guessing :o

I like that design for slimlines...seems to fit in my hand comfortably.

Very nice Bonnie. This style can be really helpful for folks with arthritis in their hands. It is my Moms only pen she can write with. Good job :D

Good lookin' Pen, Bonnie. The wood looks like Brazillian Cherry.
