Dave,
Happy Birthday!!!
You are only as old as you feel. Today's 50 is yesterday's 30, that is if you didn't have too much fun in the 60's and 70's and kept it up into your 40's.
You have my permission to take today off with pay. Tell them that David said it was okay.

Since you've never before been this old and therefore have no way to know how to act your age, you have the forum's permission to act any age you want.

Bear in mind that this will set the standard for the next 364 days.

May I suggest 19?

Happy Birthday, Dave. I read somewhere that if you make 58 your chances of making 80 double.

Look at it this way - your'e worth more now because you've gone from being just "used" to a "classic". In another fifty you'll be worth even more as an "antique".

Richard (who put another decade behind him a couple weeks ago).
