I just bought an 8/4 16'x16" length of Ponderosa pine to use making rails and stiles for a sliding barn door for my shop. I was wondering if those cracks could be an issue? The door will be hanging from a track system so there shouldn't be a problem with wood movement. The moisture content is about 10 but here in New Mexico it won't stay the wet for long.
