Multiple posters have discussed using hardwood flooring for bench top use. I'm just about to that point in my shop re configuration where I'll be putting the final top on an 8' and 2' section of bench on either side of the miter saw.
About 30 square feet. Tired of MDF. What are people actually using? The composite type stuff where there is just a layer of wood or is there still solid wood flooring sold? Any info would be helpful before I make the rounds.
