Would anyone happen to have a good vendor for boxes? Both merchandise and shipping. I am working on presentation . . . if you were a retail store (as some of you are) when you display your tiles, wouldn't it look better if when the customer purchased them, they came in some sort of a box?

Do any of you know how to or have a cdr file of how to, cut these out of cardboard. I saw some on some site that looked like a flower nicely folded down. It would be great if I could learn how to make my own boxes.

Thank you for any help you can give.

God Bless,
Zelma

Uline.com

I make all my own filler material on the laser, but Uline can't be beat for fast shipping, selection and price.

I agree with ULine. I buy everything from them.

Hi everyone, I can't seem to find 4"x4" x 1" size boxes for coasters anywhere, does anyone know where I can source them from.

Thanks,

Concur - Uline.com - topnotch... They will cut and make specific sized boxes for your needs.

They do have a 4X4X1. Part Number S-11232

By the way - anyone that does crystal or highly polished work and tired of leaving fingerprints behind to clean up later - look at their cotton inspection gloves. Nice throw aways that last a good bit and makes that last step a bit easier - cleanup.

ULine - 10 years and counting

Gift boxes, etc: I've used some 5 x 8 x 2 (+-) with clear covers... so cheap to buy, making them myself would have been a waste of time. Something like $.60 in q of 75 or so.

for foam: I've used 1" thick open cell gray. It cuts great, stinks a bit though. Gary's got the best prices.

Wow those are some great prices on Uline. I wish I would have found them sooner. I would have to pay for shipping from Toronto, but I doubt it would compare to with what I'm paying now for a lot of the same sizes.

Thanks for the lead with Uline.com. I ordered up some boxes myself. I wasn't even really looking for them, but then I saw a couple sizes that really fit well with my products.

Thanks.

I order about $5,000 or so a year from ULINE and you can not beat the price. I'm in kentucky and if I place an order for enough boxes to ship by freight by 6pm then they are on my dock the next day NO KIDDING!
If you buy just small amounts ask them to "BOX" them in a larger box to ship otherwise you'll get bundled boxes that are strapped around just sheet cardboard and likely to have the corners messed up by our friends at UPS.

I just bought 1200 7X7X7 gloss black boxes for a job and saved over 20 cents a box AND got a free football rug for my little boys room because my order was over 1K. Nice for the freebie but I am very satisfied with the service and products.

my 20 cents worth

Pete

PS depending on where you are the is likely a warehouse within one day!

I get some very nice velvet and foam lined gift boxes from www.vytekdirect.com (http://www.vytekdirect.com) - they come in standard sizes for plaques and tiles.

I agree about ULINE. If you're looking for some high end boxes & packaging, try Rio Grande. They have some real nice stuff. They sell everything for the jewelry trade -- tools, gems & findings & packaging. If you're a tool freak, get their tool catalog.

Pete,

Just got another shipment from Uline - I used your advice about requesting my smaller boxes to be put in a larger box. Sweet - no damages at all...

Thanks for the tip - seems like I could have thought about the box company boxing their stuff up ?!?!? But I didn't - kudos to you...
