You know those things that move and flap in the wind? Started playing around with larger and thicker pieces of wood with the laser the other day... Was surprised how easily it cut through 1/2 plywood!!!

There is a large market for these things around here and was wondering if any of you have tried making them on the laser???

Anyone have a file, pattern, or experience that they would like to share???

Thanks Mark.

There's a spiral tool in coreldraw. All you'd need then is to blip a hole in the middle for the string to go through.

I was thinking more like the ones where the propeller moves some objects... :)

Ya' got anything like that???

Any Pics from other Creekers???

Thanks Mark.

Check out Fox Chapel Publishing search Crafts/All and you'll see a book of 25 Whirligigs for $9.95. There are many pattern books available for Whirligigs to challenge any skill level. (Other than Fox). They are fun to make but take a bit of time to assemble and paint. Have fun
