Hello all......I work at an architecture firm on the 37th floor of a large office building, and we would like to purchase a laser cutter, however due to our location we need a ventless filtration system as well. Our budget is fairly large, however the system needs to be somewhat compact and nearly odorless. any suggestions?

Take a look a ULS - Universal Laser Systems, I have their smaller machine ie VL-200 with their filtration cart, but the also sell the VL-300 with the filtration cart. I have the unit in my house and it does a pretty good job. I have to admit however, I try not to cut really stinky stuff. The VersaLaser Line is designed for an office environment, but you really don't want to be making rubber stamps for everybody in the office. I would imagine you might be using it to build models and make signs. Give ULS a call and they will have a salesman come out and demo the machine on your site. Cut the material you will be using most and make up your own mind.

Let me qualify this reply: " I am a sales rep". But, I sell a system from TBH filtration www.tbh-online.com (http://www.tbh-online.com) I have several installed doing the same application. Even cutting acrylic there is no odor. They are perfect for this application and have shown very reasonable filter life as well. There are units for the table top size machines upto the large table size units as well.
