I thought I remembered someone here posting that the Triton 2 1/4 HP plunge has the same bolt pattern as a xxxxxx (don't remember). Vbulletin's search engine is not that hot so I went through every thread with 'Triton' and 'Plate' in it, I think.

Am I remembering wrong? If so no harm done. If you're out there Oh Mystery Poster, can you help me out? Dad's got one on the way and we're picking out tables and plates (no, not for dinner).

TIA,

Glenn

I emailed Triton when mine was on the way and they sent me a .pdf of the pattern. Sorry, I didn't save it. Also, the manual is on-line on their site and might have some useful info.

I just put the base plate on the router table plate and scribed the holes and found the center.

Hi Glenn,

I am pretty sure it is the same as the Porter Cable 7518. I first saw that info in a review by, I beleive it was a man named Bill Esposito. It says "To install the router in the table you'll need a hole layout which is the same as for the PC 7518." the link to the review is...

Hope this helps.

Glenn,

If you check out Rockler, they seem to sell a plate that is good for the Triton or the PC 7518. The link is here: http://www.rockler.com/product.cfm?page=10270

So, I think that solves your mystery.

Best,
Tim

While I have no reason to doubt that Triton's 2.25 hp model has the PC7518 hole pattern, Rockler's description of this plate originally referred to Triton's 3.5 hp model (TRA001). I bought that plate and router before the 2.25 hp model came out.
