OK i know this topic is old but I cant seem to find a decent lumber supplier in NJ. I have ordered from internetlumber and it was good, but id like to be able to go to a place, look at what im buying, and choose it myself. There are a few places I have found on the internet but the pricing seems high compared to mail order suppliers.

thanks again!

Mike,

Here is the website that have used in the past to find local sawmills in my area. I hope that this helps.

Not exactly what you asked for but check out the Manufacturers forum (Mike Morgan). He makes runs through your area and has excellent prices (at least compared to what I can obtain in my neck of the woods.

Where are you in NJ? Willard Bros outside of Trenton is usually a good source, for example. Fred Voorhees recently found a nice supplier farther north...near Clinton, I think...since our friend Simmie Agin died and the business was discontinued.
