Hi all-

I am new to the forums (I actually just found them a couple of weeks ago), and I am wondering what else I am missing.

What are some of your favorite woodworking related sites?

thanks...

Sorry, I didn't actually mean forums, but rather project sites.

Mine are mostly shopping sites!

www.highlandwoodworking.com
www.rockler.com
www.woodcraft.com
www.sommerfeldtools.com
www.kregtools.com
www.amazon.com
www.lienielsen.com
www.woodpeck.com
www.bobmarinosbesttools.com (bob has some links to other cool sites too)
www.patwarner.com
www.minimax-usa.com (good videos on there)

I'm sure others have many other sites, but these are some that I frequent. You'll also find some of the guys here have some cool sites too.

Good luck and welcome to the Creek. Stick around and participate, it's a great place...

Jamie,

don't forget about www.woodworker.com (http://www.woodworker.com) - they carry multiple lines of machines and tools - everything for the woodworker but the wood. "Where the experts buy their tools."

PM sent.

I sure appreciate http://www.woodbin.com/index.htm .

The sagulator, which computes sag in shelves and beams and the shrinkulator which figures wood movement are very helpful. Plus they have a section on standards for furniture, desk heights, chair depths etc.

As someone who is fairly new to woodworking, especially Internet sites I suggest -

http://www.finewoodworking.com

It has a vast library of articles on all aspects of woodworking. To access much of the library, however, there is an annual fee. I've found the site very helpful.

I'm just curious....what is the reasoning for not allowing links to other forums in the TOS? I recognize names of members and moderators on some of the other forums....so I reckon its not like having a jealous spouse....oops, I hope not . So.....maybe I didnt recognize names afterall. Nope, sure dont remember any. Uh-uh, never saw anyone anywhere else. I dont remember going to any other forums now that I think about it. ....I dont even woodwork .....so,never mind :)
