Japanese style table (pic)

Here's a table I made for my computer room. It fits right up next to the couch and was purpose built for this location as to size and shape.
It has one drawer on each side, although the big drawer is kinda fake because the front covers the whole side, but the drawer itself is much smaller.

the frame was made with the Kreg jig. Fast and easy !! The wood is Red Oak with a Walnut inlay on the top.

Finish is Watco danish with a couple coats of poly on the top. then the entire thing was waxed.

I enjoyed making this project quite a bit, it wasn't too hard, but it was something that I really needed for my computer room

What are the panels & drawer front made of? They don't look like red oak to me.
