DeWalt DW625 Speed Control

I'm building a router table, using the DW625 and the Woodpecker PlungeLift; I'm wondering if I can use an external router speed control without affecting the electronic load sensing feature of the DeWalt?

Every external speed control that I've seen specifies "not for use with soft start routers."
