Decided to try a little different form for me anyway. A fellow club member gave me a piece of dry cherry. This one measures 8-1/4" tall x 5" dia. Finished with Antique oil and Beall buffed. As always comments are welcome and thanks for looking.

I'm very impressed -- I love the form you chose (or didn't choose and ended up with, as frequently happens to me:rolleyes:).

Excellent piece!

Very well done yet it seems too traditional and plain for you. No collar, no branding, no texture, no gaping holes or bark inclusions. You a little blue about something? I'm worried about you man, You OK?

Just kidding, nice piece. Looks thin and light. I suspect it was a bit of a technical challenge turning the top of the area below the neck. Good job.

I have looked at this for a while. It has a very delicate look, something that just seems to go well with cherry.
Quite a pleasing turning.
