Sliding resaw sled for band saw

I saw this video:

The resaw sled looked pretty cool. It was constructed from 3/4" plywood, used heavy duty drawer slides, and a weight to actually pull the material through the blade. Anyone have a link showing how this thing (or something similar) is built? I can see the major points from watching the video, but the little details (like attaching the material to be cut, making the gauge, setup and alignment) would be nice to see.

The sled design probably serves the purpose for testing the of the saws however it is not as useful for general work.

The problem is that it is not readily adjustable for blade lead.

There are a number of thinks that you can do to negate blade lead especially for resawing. You can decrease or negate blade lead with the following techniques:

1. A sharp blade with the correct pitch and tooth design.
2. Wheel alignment and tensioning (I use the gauge but set it one mark
higher as the blade dulls.
3. Angling the top wheel or changing the fence to match blade lead or used a
curved resaw guide.

Thanks for the information. I'm looking towards a fence that can adjust for the blade's drift. That jig was major overkill for any resawing I'd ever be doing (and I'll never be benchmarking) but you never know when something similar might fit the bill for another task...

Laguna is making that fence, it's called the drift master, just research their site. of course they say it's for laguna saws, but i am sure they could rig something up.
downside is, they are so in demand, I have been on the waitlist for 2 months, should be here in october


and the jig is waaaayyyyy overkill, the driftmaster has a thread as well, so you can adjust everything right there, here is the link to the video
