This is the last of the segmented bowls I've done recently. I'm not real happy with the shape, but the pattern turned out pretty good. This one has 352 pieces in it. It measures 12-5/8" by 4-7/8" with a wall thickness of 5/16". I finished it with wipe on polyurethane and than buffed.

Made me dizzy AND smile!
Nice work, and the form is fine (we are always so hard on our own work:confused:)!

I don't think I want to stare at those pictures for too long! LOL But that's a fine bowl. Nice work!

Glad I was sober when I pulled this up!

Really nice stuff Frank! I like the color combo and the form. I think it's a very spiffy pith helmet.:D

So that's what canary wood looks like. I like you color combination.

The form's not my favorite either, but I sure do like the pattern design. I bet it would look great in a wider, lower, trumpet-type form that has a lot of flat area on top.

Patrick, I think your right, plus the wider trumpet shape is easier to turn.
