Last night I went to HD with the $10 gift card they sent me & purchased this HVAC fitting & installed it on my planer.
In the pics you'll also see where I put an aluminum baffle on the out-feed side of the cutter-head between it & the out-feed roller. I am happy to say it works great I only get about a teaspoon of chips out the in-feed side while planing a 4' 1x4 & none out the out-feed side where it used to just pour out.
