Vacuum pump

I have just acquired a Robinair Vacumaster model 15400 vacuum pump. This is a 2 stage 1/3hp pump rated at 4cfm. The manual only mentions air conditioning use evacuating a system before recharging.

Does anyone know if this pump would work with a vacuum chuck?

Sure it would.!!!! Get you an inline filter so dust and stuff won't get to the pump, hook that baby up to your lathe and grin while turning. :D
