I was using my thickness planer on some thin 12-foot stock yesterday and didn't have a way to support the stock as it passed through the planer, so I had to improvise...

Nice mobile cart for your planer. Care to show some close up pictures of it?

It's not quite finished yet. It's actually supposed to be for a miter-saw with wings that flip up. Built from New Yankee plans for the "garage workshop." I'm actually thinking of dismantling it because it's just too big for my shop.

Do you have air shocks to allow you to adjust the height? ;-)

Can't beat that, Jason...and I bet you planned for that planer cabinet to put the level on level with the truck bed, too... :D

Well I gotta say it.....Move the planer closer to the outfeed table and you'll have a fine chip collector too. All ya need is another smartie in your face, right?

I thought it was going to be a picture of your wife. Or even more expensive, not your wife.

2002 Dodge...
I hear Steel City is coming out with one in granite! :DYeah, but early reviews say the acceleration and mileage are pretty bad...and the seats are very uncomfortable on long trips. :D

Just ask your neighbor, Barney (Rubble), to lend a hand.:D

Great idea. Good thing about it is you don't have to worry about it falling over but it may just drive off on you. ;)
