Intellicad

FYI, I also posted this on the Design Forum.

Autodesk used to offer a free version of their software, Intellicad. Does anyone know where I can get this? I used to have it but lost my HD a while ago.

While I would like to get this software (very easy to use), can anyone reccomend some other 2D software that doesn't cost an arm & a leg?

www.imsi.com (http://www.imsi.com) used to offer a free download of the 2D version of tubocad with a lot of the features available. I bought the full version some years back for $50. Not sure what they have for download or sale now. It is easy to use though.
