I looking at these two 12" CMS's and would like opinions on both.

Hitachi C12LCH
http://www.amazon.com/Hitachi-C12LCH-12-Inch-Compound-Digital/dp/B0002X7VLQ/ref=pd_bbs_sr_1/102-5666358-0906516?ie=UTF8&s=hi&qid=1187207542&sr=8-1

and

Bosch 4212L
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/customer-reviews/B0007LQQ0U/sr=8-1/qid=1187202880/ref=cm_cr_dp_all_top/102-5666358-0906516?ie=UTF8&n=228013&s=hi&qid=1187202880&sr=8-1#customerReviews

I do not need a slider.

Thanks,

Either one of those would be great.

ive used the hitachis(with and without the digi) and if you can find one without the readouts for a little cheaper then id suggest you'd put it into the comparison and work from there..

the digital display (IMHO) is just a gimmick and ends up wasting time more often than not.

Thanks for the replies. I am leaning toward the Bosch. I thought the digital readout was kind of hokey.

Have had the Bosch for almost two years. Love it. Dead on accurate arbor and swing arm, easy to change bevel (front locking is great), and in my experience, the most accurate detents for the common angles (90, 45, 22.5, etc.) of any CMS going. Great machine.
