Can anybody give me any info or a link to any info on this particular saw with a delta 2hp motor I have done a ton of searches and cannot find anything. I think from the serial number HM69XX it was made somewhere from 1975 to 1976 the motor is a model 83-631
Thanks

I have that exact saw, I've found it to be a reliable workhorse, although I did have to true up the face of the arbor when I got it a few years ago. What would you like to know about it?

basically are there any differences between this saw and the 34-450 and if it is as good as or close to the current made unisaws also how the older 2hp motor compares to the newer 3 and lastly if this saw was made before rockwells quality seemed to fall off sometime in the late 70s

qAs long as it hasn't been abused, it is as good or better than a new one. There are motor upgrades available for these saws- there was a 5hp 3-phase unit available at the time, and the new 3-hp motor and controls will bolt on. However, I find that my 2-horse is quite adeqate for what I do. If it cuts straight and doesn't vibrate excessively its fine. Other than the arbor bearings, all the parts on this saw interchange with whats on a new one.

You may want to upgrade the fence, the Jet-locks work ok until they get bent or wear out. Once that happens they fight you.

I have a parts-list for the model number 34-476 and it says it was revised in 1985.

Do you still have that parts list? I'm looking for a 34-476 parts list.

Thanks
