Pumpkin Seed Vase

A few months ago, someone posted pictures of a "pumpkin seed" vase. There was some pleading from the masses for a tutorial, but I never saw one.

Anyone familiar with the technique used to make that item?

I've never made another one to do a tutorial and take some pictures of the process. But if you happen to be able to get ahold of the summer 2005 issue of Woodturning Design it has what is probably a much better demo than I could come up with.

It's not very hard to do but would be a little hard for me to explain without a bunch of pictures to do the talking.
