I am trying to convert a .cdr to .dxf for version 19 BobCad.

The same .dxf shows up in ShopBot but doesn't import into BobCad. It opens up but there is nothing there. No layers, invisible objects, and no visible objects.

Can anyone help with this?

Thanks in advance,

PLB

Try exporting the file from corel to dxf. I can export that way but I can't say how it will import to another program.

Perry,
I have Bobcad, X3 and run both CNC's and Laser. Most of the time it is your background. If you do a "Control "A"" you will be able to see if there is anything on the screen. Zoom out if needed. If you see your DXF selected then just go to the Attributes and change the color. If you still have the problem and it it not a proprietary file for your customer, post it or PM me and I give you an email to send it to.

Thanks,

I can save the file from my version 9 and BobCad 19 opens it just fine but my CorelDraw 11 and X3 saved dxf come up blank and when I do a select all Bobcad shows no objects selected.

Bobcad shows the file as open but the page remains blank with no objects.

I tried the attribute change for color but neither 11 or X3 show anything.

I wonder what the problem is?

Thanks in advance,
