TYLER WOOD

This is from a log I picked up from a trimmer's place. Not sure but I think it may be Arizona Cyprus, at least that is what a friend thinks. Me, it's dunnowood. The stump was from the base of the tree. This is my favorite of my turnings so far. My wife layed claim to this. The first time she has really taken interest in any of my turnings, so it's hers!!! ENJOY

Tyler, I LOVE this one and agree with Ken that it looks like an opening flower. Tell your wife that she's a lucky lady and to lock up that piece.

Very nice, Tyler. Stumps are my favorite part of the tree. Ugly outside, most interesting inside. Pity that so many of them just get shredded. I've disinterred a few, and it's usually good for a pound or two weight loss. Absent heavy equipment, next best is to have a teenage son or grandson, though I have neither.

A real beauty, sir.
