Don,

60 years, simply amazing..... you are truly a lucky man. And congratulations on both reaching 84 and being an inspiraton for all of the rest of us. Not only are you still kicking, but you're still doing things that people much younger than you have long since given up. Dave.

Don,

Congratulations! What an accomplishment. You are truly a blessed man...luck really has nothing to do with it. You and your wife obviously have made the right choices through the years. Love is ultimately a choice. I would guess that somewhere in those 60 years each of you didn't feel like loving the other, but you stayed true to the commitment you made on your wedding day. God bless you! And Happy Birthday, too!

Congratulations Don!

Doing some math, that puts your wedding date at Jan 23rd, 1944. Those were some incredible times. German lines on Eastern Front had just collapsed and were in full retreat, and three days later the Soviets liberated Auschwitz.

Being a man close to the age you were when married I can only begin imagine the changes you have had the opportunity to experience and observe, both high and low, throughout the years.

Given the fickleness of our current times, I can only hope that my wife Yee and I are lucky enough to experience the same bond and longevity that you and you wife have.

WOW! Nice gloat Don. Congratualtions on both accounts...sure hope I make 84, but the 60 won't happen unless I live to be 101....didn't get married til I was 41.

Don,
Congratulations on both milestones! Keep it up.
I certainly would like to match your 84 years (my father is currently 87, has problems but is still kicking) but the anniversary? I'm pretty sure my wife will have wised up and done me in by then!
