Love is ultimately a choice. I would guess that somewhere in those 60 years each of you didn't feel like loving the other, but you stayed true to the commitment you made on your wedding day. Doing some math, that puts your wedding date at Jan 23rd, 1944. Those were some incredible times. German lines on Eastern Front had just collapsed and were in full retreat, and three days later the Soviets liberated Auschwitz.

Being a man close to the age you were when married I can only begin imagine the changes you have had the opportunity to experience and observe, both high and low, throughout the years.

Given the fickleness of our current times, I can only hope that my wife Yee and I are lucky enough to experience the same bond and longevity that you and you wife have.
